What equipment is provided by the agency

Canyon Corse agency will provide you with:

  • ​a 5mm wetsuit for more warmth
  • a harness with all necessary equipment depending on the descent you will make
  • a helmet
  • a backpack to transport your belongings to the start of the canyoning activity
  • watertight canisters
  • Canyoning shoe rental €10 per person

What you must bring to practice canyoning:

  • a swimsuit and a towel
  • a bottle of water and a cereal bar
  • a picnic if you wish to sign up for the Tavignano , Grand Vecchio or Integral Dardu
  • closed shoes like sneakers that can go in the water if you don't rent them

Warning: the use of sunscreen is formally prohibited in rivers and canyons

Although you can descend a canyon in sneakers or trail and hiking shoes, good canyoning shoes made of very comfortable materials will give you:

  • Better ankle support
  • Good cushioning and foot protection
  • More comfort
  • Better grip on wet rocks for more safety
  • Better water circulation and drainage.
